| Life Priorities |
Beyond the walls of church ministries,
Let every part of my life be motivated by thee
Whilst I breathe from that first heavenly kiss
Your destiny is sealed in the core within me
Consume my heart, change me for Your pleasure
Clothed in Your presence every day of my life
Let Your light shine through every inch of me
Have Your way in me, Lord.
[John 4:23 - Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.]
I understand a tad better now, the art of juggling life with God in every aspect of my life, not just in my service unto him in His house. Worship is a lifestyle, the very core purpose for our creation. I want His living water to fill every bucket in my life. (1Tim 3:5 [NIV] - If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God's church?) Was once again reminded today on what I heard last week from a youth pastor about how he juggles with his many life commitments. His priorities that he suggest are as follow:
1) Personal relationship with God
2) Family & relationship
3) Career
4) Ministry
Prioritisation is a way of enthroning God and a play of wisdom to balance the delicate life commitments on the scale of life. =) |
