| Best Birthday in Brisbane |
Even though this is my second birthday celebration in Brisbane, I can confidently say that it will be my best ever birthday in Brissie (of course, unless I settle down here). Heees.. My roomie and the rest of the gang had a nice surprise dinner for me. And the best part is that Ludwig (my neighbour) and Joel actually whipped up delicious Italian cuisine from scratch! Aw.. Im so lucky. I wasnt expect so much trouble from anyone because everyone was dead with school assignments... Its just the time of the semester. It felt awesome to be adored by friends and great gifts. My parents sent me a really nice card this year! It kinda reminded me of my 1 year old birthday card (which I still have it with me somewhere in some boxes). Just needa mention that I love the few weekends of sleepovers at my girliess' place (Susz's Birthday and Mel's place just last weekend) and I must say that Im guilty for not doing much school work during the weekend.
Sometimes I really wonder how will life be without most of my good SG mates next year. Joel, my nemesis who happens to be my first and greatest confidant and hero, and occasionally, also my most loathed housemate, is leaving soon. Hmm.. really mixed feelings inside, sometimes I feel horrible, while other times, I think it may just be all for the better. Its not going to be that bad eh? I still have friends around, sch mates and others.. just that they are probably not my homies or neighbours.. SOBS.
I havent been sleeping much last week and my sleep cycle is really screwed. Why must I have horrible signs around my eyes??? Gosh.. ok.. My eye sight is failing me too and I mean it. Gees, I've aged. Final semester exams are in less than a month so Kaiwen you must do work! Oh, did I mention that I just got my notes for 1 of the modules and another huge stack of readings for another module printed out? Im such a slacker! bad student! poor attitude! okok.. before I condemn myself to hell grades and actualize hell, I better get going with my work and most importantly, sleep too.
P.S. I thought I felt my heart skipped abit tonight. |
