| Life of a nomad |
I've just moved in to a new place. Ah... finally that puts an end to my nomadic life. Im really grateful for the generosity of my friends who housed me ever since I came back from SG till now. Looking back at my 2 years here in brissie, I guess I have been really pampered living in the city, having a rather luxurious student life. Now, Im a frugal student and sometimes I catch myself reminiscing the old times. Still, Im not as if living in dumps now and Im contented for everything I have. Other than adjusting to the distance and older house, Im really happy to finally settle down with a house. Well, Im currently in the midst of unpacking and cleaning and stuff. Hopefully I will be able to get some nice pictures of my very big room! It is soo big I dont exactly know what to do with the space.
What is a home? A physical habitation that is temporal until you find your true home in heaven? Someone once told me home is where the family is at.
Life is great despite the never ending to-do lists. Community placement at nutrition health centre some distance away from the city is really interesting and Im doing a project on Breastfeeding. Research doesnt seem to be my cup of tea. Oops, I opted for research stream. Im praying hard to complete this year successfully. *with fingers crossed* I guess Im trying to learn to be productive, rather than idling around now. Busy is an understatement, really.
The nomad has thus, dropped her title. I have a home now! hehes. |
