Cockroach Attack
I killed a cockroach which trespassed my walk-in wardrobe with almost half a can of Baygon yesterday. And in turn, my clothes and clean towels in my wardrobe reeked of insecticide. Nasty. Till date, this is the number 5 roachie, not to mention the 'caterpillar look-alike', spiders and mosquitoes. Alright, pardon me for my exaggeration on the killing bit but I really hate INSECTS and my house is full of them.

So, I've made up my mind to Move (with other reasons involved of course... im not that pathetic.) as soon as I get my stuff settled. Before I leave, i really think I should take some pictures of the place because I may never live in a queenslander again. It is really a decent place and I used to love my room. Sobs... but then again, the place is in a mess now. How infuriating. There are just so many 'if onlys'.

Uncontrolled
Self destruction is so much easier than self-preservation. Such is the characteristic of the decadent world that we are living in today. Maybe we should look forward to the end of the world, a time when we can all be saved. To fit in or stick to your own convictions ? - what tough choices an individual has to made. Growing up is difficult but living is even tougher. Im not suicidal, but merely reflective of the current situation. Frown and be stuck at the bottom of the dark pit or smile and pretend that everything is alright.

Whatever it is, live and be responsible for your actions. Be accountable for yourself.

I need to be back on track.. hehe..

SOS!

BACK from camping
Went Fraser Island for 4 days camp during Easters weekend. It was all fun, except that my handphone is gone. I swear I wasnt careless. The fault lies in the stupid leaking water tumbler. ARGH. So, give me some time to get a new phone and start being contactable again.

My assignment datelines and one more paper are nearing so I need to seriously get back to work. Let me just sum up my camping experience: nice company, edible 'rojak' food (we even had ginseng porridge on the first night), bumpy 4WD ride, very good drivers, starry nights, Moon rise (haha), girlies' shower, big tent, rain, sea, breeze and wind, australia blue sky, the beautiful lakes, waves, fine sand and not forgetting the dirt and spiders. Im glad I joined them, totally No regrets!

Shall let the pictures takeover from here...

To be with the Lord
Im hurt. Seriously. Im confused with what I hear. But Im going to stick dearly to my initial decisions and gut feelings, like what my sister told me to. The painful consequences and period have been overcomed, so I see no reason why I cant handle whatever it is to come. Im glad I made the right choice and settled the stuff before I came over to Brissie. All those draggy shit were left at home. It is time I start afresh and head somewhere.

Trust in God and his plans for you.

loose ends all tied up..
When I tend to get too emotional, it may signal the time of the month yet again, so pardon me for my unrestrained sentimentality.

It is really not easy to be away from home I must say. Though I may be enjoying myself at times, I really wish to be back home, to be with my family and be all spoilt. Being away from them made me realize how pampered I was. Formerly a princess, now a slave. GOSH. Contradicting it may seem but Im thankful that Im given such an opportunity to be out here to slog it out. Im sure I can... can I? Perhaps it is just the beginning and I should give myself more time to settle down my emotions and all. Like this is not bad enough, I need to deal with my phobia towards insects too. Such a big challenge when they appear so often to scare me. I miss my pest-controller - Daddy. Maybe I need a Man in my life. Hmm.. should I call the hotline? HAHA.. why am I so irritating?

Seriously.... Speaking of relationship, Im not here for that. As much as I want someone to be there for me, supporting me with all the love, this taurean is determined to stay alone, at least for now. Im a tad too weak for my liking, so I have to work on becoming stronger.

In this short period of time here, I have learnt that nothing is impossible, especially in Festie. This 'family' just assembled a cake for Leng today. And I really mean Assembling. It was really a project, a feat in fact as we had to do it discretely to surprise her. Thrilling. The best part of all is to see Leng's happy face in the end.

I know this post is really random. Excuse me for that.

First mid exams
Im taking a breather from studying for my mid paper tomorrow so I decided to blog a quick entry. Studying is pure pleasure, away from the stress from the real world, or is it not? Seriously, I cant wait to graduate and start working and get married and have kids and retire. Sounds like a sad way to live.. HAha. Life can be quite mundane at times, especially when it seems that many things are not exactly within our control and that we have to simply follow whatever system already in place for us. Why are we pawns of the society? Is it better that we live as a non-conformist?

Question your existence to know that you are in fact living - Descartes' cogito, ergo sum.
