| Random updates |
Mid Semester Exams are here, stretching from this week all the way to 3rd week of Sep. All the Physiology and sciences are killing me. God save me! Sometimes you really wonder if studying is really better than working. At least working gives you the satisfaction and the financial motivation. Hmmph!
Lately, I have been rather confused with my decision in pursuing Dietetics. I was questioning myself if Im even suitable for this course, judging from my struggle in sciences and of course my character itself. And then, I started to look at other options in my future career. I dont want to do anything else though. What is God's direction for me? I praying for a sign.
And, I have been eating rubbish. Argh! I think I really needa do some planning in my diet and stuff. Follow what I preach. Then, maybe I will find more motivation and meaning in my future career, especially in helping people and knowing that they can follow my advice. Otherwise, we will be nothing but diet naggers, adding to the already notorious naggy reputation of women.
Ah ma is getting married end of the year. Im really happy to receive the news. Another phase of her life, another challenge ahead that is going to be so full of love and meaning. I start to see my friends or rather people I know getting married and I want to settle down as well; marry after I graduate according to my plan. LOL. May God have the same plan for me.

| EKKA 2007 |
Some people refer to it as The Exhibition, while others call it The Royal Queensland Show. Whatever it is, I know it as EKKA day! Its like an annual carnival or a trade-show that warrants a public holiday (just last wed), stretching over a period of a week of so. In the exhibition, there are animal shows, interesting showbags worth checking out, performance, endless game stalls and all kinda rides.
There was so much to see and it was a real pity my homies and I went on the last day and only in the afternoon (eh because we woke up late.. hee). So, we didnt manage to catch the animals, any of the shows or performance. Still, it was FUN and the company was, needless to say, fabulous! Sometimes its the company that gives you the awesome experience.
Oh did I mention that day we took a train to the site and it was my first train ride?! Yippie! This is by far the most exciting day this semester. Big Grin.

| Torn |
It seems foolish for one to expect to enjoy the care and love from someone in the way he or she wants it to be because it can hardly happen. You want the attention but only in the way you like it to be. Isnt it pure selfishness? As if the minds of both genders are not hard enough to fathom.
For a happily ever after, a simple dream that appears to be too naive.
For a banished thought to be recurring, only to be haunted by it again.
For a love that never started, but caused heartaches instead.
Who says Im torn? I will never be...at least not for long. All thanks to the miraculous girl power with the help of the prayers. Im so sure that things will become better.
To a happy me, Cheers.

| Bitter but better |
Sometimes you just have to let go of whatever you are holding on, however painful it is. At least you know, you have the strength to challenge whatever that is to come and that your pain ends there and then. Forced smile or a genuine one, it doesnt matter. Things will get better with time I believe, it will.
Its strange how you have become one of my confidants but I really feel better after chatting with ya. Thanks pal(you should know who you are).
And so, Im bitter but better. Blog again soon after I get my stuff going! I've just moved into a new place with my homies, done with most of the unpacking but not done catching up with sch's work. Busy busy. |
